This Section produced several webinars, including
“The Digital Millennium Copyright Act: An Update,”
“Willful Infringement in Intellectual Property Cases,” and
“Understanding the Trademark Examiner’s Perspective –
Tips for the Private Practitioner.” It continued to publish
its online newsletter, distributed its Annual IP Law Update on DVD and coordinated the submission of articles to
the March 2011 issue of the Bar Bulletin. The Section
maintained its own stand-alone website, featuring its
members-only section that includes both publications and
presentation materials and recordings from its educational
programs, available for download to its members. It also
introduced its “Chair’s Happy Hour” informal meetings
held around the state, and it will present an educational
program on “Recent Developments in Intellectual Property”
at the MSBA Annual Meeting. |
