2009/2010 ANNUAL REPORT: |
This Section grew to more than 400 members in its second
year, engaged an active electronic discussion group and
advocated for legislation before the General Assembly. It
provided assistance to the Motor Vehicle Administration
on the implementation of the new driver’s license law for
immigrants and developed a special project to assist with the
immigration needs of Haitians stranded in Maryland because
of the devastating earthquake in that country. The Section will
present an informative educational program at the MSBA
Annual Meeting.
