Stephanie Lane-Weber has been a long-standing member of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) Correctional Reform Section Council, and served as Chair from 2002-2004; Vice-Chair for 2002 and Secretary for 2000-2002. Ms. Lane-Weber is also a member of the MSBA Federal Bench-Bar Liaison Committee, and a member, Board of Governors, Federal Bar Association, Maryland Chapter, where she had been serving as Secretary since 2008.
Ms. Lane-Weber has been Council to the Correctional Litigation Division (CLD) of the Maryland Attorney General’s Office since 1995. Prior to that she was an assistant attorney general in CLD and the Criminal Appeals Division. Ms. Lane-Weber was also an assistant state’s attorney for Wicomico County, Maryland for close to four years. After law school Ms. Lane-Weber clerked for the Honorable Morris Turk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County.
