January’s Tech Tips Focuses on courtroom and trial technology but many of these sites are valuable for ALL lawyers.

Court Technology and Trial Presentation Blawg – It features articles, reviews and news of interest to lawyers and other legal professionals. Although focuses on courtroom and litigation, this is an excellent blawg for all attorneys to keep up with what is happening with the courts which can affect all firms.  It is written by Ted Brooks, a trial presentation consultant.

12 Questions to Ask When Hiring a Trial Graphics Consultant – While this is the blog for The Litigation Consulting Report, whether your firm is considering trial graphics or already working with one, these are important questions to ask.

ABA Legal Tech Resource Center – This site provides independent reviews of all types of technology and has a fairly updated reviews and comparison chart for litigation support software.

What Will be Happening in 2012 in E-Discovery Technology – Law.com’s Legal Technology News interviewed the editorial board to hear what they see coming in 2012.

For trial presentation, the premier app is Trial Pad at $89.99.  While you may consider this to be expensive, it was named top new product on 2011 by TechnoLawyer.
TrialPad and the new TranscriptPad from LitSoftware has a YouTube site with video tutorials.
